Maine Jump$tart Adds New Board Members

The Maine Jump$tart Coalition is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Board Members, Shannon Gorman, Director of Education & Conferences at the Maine Insurance Agents Association and Josh Steirman, Director of Government Relations at Maine Bankers Association, effective immediately.

Shannon Gorman has worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years and is passionate about providing education for MIAA members and promoting the insurance industry to young people. Shannon is also serving as the interim Young Agents Liaison for the MIAA.

Josh Steirman has worked in financial services for over 15 years. Josh leads advocacy to state and federal government on behalf of Maine banks and their over 9,000 employees statewide. Previously he worked in risk management for a Maine-based bank, and earlier at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Josh also serves an officer in the Maine Army National Guard.
