$pent Cartoon

$pent is a personal finance cartoon concept by Steve Kautz, with illustrations by John Grabar. Steve is a long time personal finance teacher, former Maine Jump$tart Board Member, active consultant to Maine Jump$tart, and personal finance blogger. John and Steve have been friends since grade school. John is well known back in their Connecticut hometown for his cartoons as they have appeared in the local paper for decades. Steve hatched the idea of bringing blog entries and personal finance mini-lessons into this format, and he thought of John as a perfect collaborator. The cartoons represent a variety of personal finance issues featuring one semi-regular character, Benny, and a host of other voices and faces.
