12 Maine Teachers to Attend National Educators Conference

(Augusta) – The Maine Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy has partnered with Machias Savings Bank and Next Gen Personal Finance to sponsor 12 Maine teachers to attend the 2019 Jump$tart National Educators Conference. This is one of the largest groups to be sponsored by Maine Jump$tart.

Throughout this event, teachers from 49 states will have the opportunity to network with financial educators from across the country and gather financial education resources and curriculum to take back to their classrooms.

The Maine Jump$tart Coalition is thrilled to sponsor such well-deserving financial educators from throughout the state, who are representing nine different counties across Maine. Half of the sponsored teachers will be attending the National Educator Conference for the first time and are eagerly anticipating this opportunity to discover new ways to empower and engage their students.
