RSU 16 Adult Education offers financial literacy classes for adults as part of community enrichment offerings as well as for high school completion. A small fee of up to $10 may be charged depending on the course offering and audience.
Scarborough Adult Learning Center provides college information to all GED and Adult High School Diploma students upon earning their credential. In addition, financial literacy information, college transition classes, and Accuplacer Testing are offered at the Center.
Town & Country Federal Credit Union offers a variety of online and in-person financial education resources. Visit their Savvy Money site to view your credit score, work on your budget and explore other personal finance topics. Or, for in-person education, contact them to schedule a Financial "Wellness Workshop" in your school or workplace.
The University of Maine Cooperative Extension supports and provides the National Endowment for Financial Education.
